But no, I haven’t updated in 0.1 years. I have dilligently spent the last month and a half being calm and relaxed — this is a vacation, doncha know — and as such I haven’t had a whole lot to talk about. That will all change, for better or worse, when school begins again.

Here’s an example of what has been passing as interesting for me: Last week, as I sat reading my John Hick book in the back yard, a chipmunk scurried up from the yard and onto the porch with me. It crawled within three feet of my left foot, paused nervously, then ran away. The incident caused approximately two thoughts to go through my head (including “oh, a chipmunk!” and “oh, it ran away!”) before I went back to my book. A rabbit and some pigeons were also in the yard, but chipmunks are far more exciting, especially when they’re almost close enough to kick. (I mean “pick up and cuddle”. Yeah.)

Food-wise, I’ve been living on ramen, pancakes, pizza, and Pocky. Movie-wise, I’ve deeply enjoyed Life of Brian, Meet Joe Black, and Saw (if being scared pantsless can be enjoyable). Music-wise, the Verve, Travis, and the Appleseed Cast have kept my ears happy. And friend-wise, of course, Semirrahge has been tops.

All in all, though, I’m looking forward to coming back.
